Assumption of Risk

I understand that Bishop's Orchards Farm Market & Winery ("Bishop's Orchards") is a working farm. I acknowledge that participation in activities on the farm, including but not limited to private events, tours, seasonal activities, recreation, and use of farm property, involves inherent risks that cannot be eliminated.

These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Uneven terrain, dirt paths, gravel roads, grass, mud, holes, rocks, roots, and other natural ground conditions.
• Slips, trips, and falls.
• Changes in weather and visibility.
• Exposure to insects, bees, ticks, wildlife, and farm animals.
• Agricultural equipment, vehicles, irrigation equipment, fencing, and other farm infrastructure.
• Falling branches, fruit, or other natural objects.
• Allergens, dust, pollen, and other environmental conditions.

I voluntarily assume all risks, known and unknown, associated with entering and participating in activities on the property.

Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Bishop's Orchards, its owners, officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to personal injury, illness, property damage, or death that may occur while I am on the property or participating in activities, except to the extent caused by the gross negligence or willful misconduct of Bishop's Orchards.

Participant Responsibilities

I agree that I will:

• Stay within designated event areas unless otherwise authorized.
• Exercise caution while walking on uneven or natural surfaces.
• Wear appropriate footwear suitable for outdoor farm conditions.
• Supervise any minor children under my care at all times.
• Follow all instructions given by Bishop's Orchards staff.
• Refrain from engaging in reckless or unsafe behavior.

I understand that Bishop's Orchards reserves the right to remove any participant who fails to follow safety instructions or whose behavior creates a risk to themselves or others.

Medical Treatment

In the event of an emergency, I authorize Bishop's Orchards to obtain emergency medical assistance on my behalf if necessary. I understand that I am solely responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bishop's Orchards from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or attorney's fees arising from my own negligent or intentional acts or omissions while on the property.

Photography

I understand that photographs or video may be taken during events. Unless I notify Bishop's Orchards in writing before the event, I grant permission for my likeness to be used in promotional materials, social media, and marketing without compensation.

Minors

If signing on behalf of a minor, I certify that I am the minor's parent or legal guardian and consent to the minor's participation under the terms of this Agreement.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.

Acknowledgment

I have carefully read this Agreement. I understand its contents, understand that I am giving up certain legal rights, and sign it voluntarily.
