Bishop's Fall Festival is where New England comes to celebrate fall. Running daily from September 5 through November 1, 2026, it's your destination for apple picking, pumpkins (starting mid-September), a 4-acre corn maze, family attractions, seasonal food and drinks, and the traditions that make autumn unforgettable.
When is Bishop's Fall Festival?
Our Fall Festival runs daily from September 5 through November 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM (last tickets sold at 5:00 PM). The Festival and Pick Your Own are open daily, while wagon rides, the Mega Slide, and the Apple Train operate on weekends and holidays only.
Where is the Festival held?
The Fall Festival takes place at Bishop's Pick Your Own & Activities, 480 New England Road, Guilford, CT. This is a separate location from our Farm Market & Creamery at 1355 Boston Post Road, Guilford, CT, which offers fresh produce, bakery treats, prepared foods, wine, hard cider, and over 20 flavors of ice cream.
What are the hours for the Fall Festival?
Fall Festival hours are 10:00 AM–5:00 PM daily, with the last tickets sold at 5:00 PM.
Is the Festival good for all ages?
Yes! The Festival offers activities for toddlers, kids, teens, adults, and grandparents. Some attractions, including the Mega Slide, have safety requirements (42" minimum height and one rider per tube).
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not permitted due to federal food safety regulations for orchards.
Do you offer free parking?
Yes! Parking is always free at Bishop's Pick Your Own & Activities.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, all major credit and debit cards, and digital payments including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. We do not accept EBT at the orchard or Farm Market gift cards at the Fall Festival.
Are adults required to pay for a ticket?
Yes. Everyone ages 2 and older needs a ticket to enter the orchard. On weekdays, guests who are only visiting for Pick Your Own (and not entering the Corn Maze or Activity Area) may enter free with an Orchard Pass.
Do children under 2 need a ticket?
No. Children 24 months and under receive free admission.

Pick Your Own bags, flowers, pumpkins, food, beverages, and retail purchases are sold separately.
Why do you charge for admission?
Admission helps cover attractions like wagon rides, supports staffing and maintenance, and helps preserve our orchards so families can enjoy a safe, memorable visit while supporting local agriculture.
Does orchard admission include Pick Your Own fruit?
No. Pick Your Own bags must be purchased separately online as an add-on or at the entry gate.
Do I need orchard admission if I purchased an All Access Pass?
No. Orchard admission is included with every All Access Pass.
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available online and at the gate. We recommend purchasing online in advance to save money and enjoy expedited check-in.
Do you offer discounts?
Ticket prices are the same for all guests.
Are tickets refundable?
No. All ticket sales are final. However, Weekend & Holiday tickets may be used on any weekend or holiday during the festival, and Weekday tickets may be used on any weekday during the season.

What food options are available on weekends and holidays?
Enjoy a rotating lineup of food trucks, Bishop's wine and hard cider at the Cider Hut, and seasonal favorites like apple cider slushies, pie à la mode, cider donuts, and maple kettle corn. For even more options, visit our Farm Market & Creamery on Route 1.
What food is available on weekdays?
The Orchard Store offers cider donuts, sweet and savory snacks, kettle corn, cider, and seasonal treats. Our Farm Market & Creamery also offers prepared foods, groceries, produce, and ice cream daily.
Can I bring my own food?
Outside food and alcohol are not permitted on weekends and holidays (water is welcome). Outside food and beverages are permitted on weekdays.
How do I purchase Pick Your Own apples and pears?
Pick Your Own fruit is sold by the bag. Bags may be purchased online as an add-on to your tickets or at the entrance gate before heading into the orchard.

When does the Pumpkin Patch open?
The Pumpkin Patch opens in mid-to-late September. Pumpkins are sold separately.
Is the Festival wheelchair and stroller accessible?
Many areas are accessible, but please note that uneven farm terrain and the corn maze may require rugged wheels.
What should I wear?
Dress for the weather and wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes or boots. As a working farm, conditions may be dusty, muddy, uneven, or slippery depending on the weather. Sunscreen and hats are recommended.
Anything else I should bring?
Socks are required for the Bounce Pads and Corn Crib. We also recommend bringing sunscreen, a water bottle, weather-appropriate layers, and your camera for fall photos.
Can I bring food or beverages?
Outside food and beverages are allowed on weekdays only. On weekends and holidays, we ask guests to enjoy the many food and beverage options available on-site.
Can I leave and come back?
Yes! Same-day re-entry is permitted with your wristband or ticket confirmation.
Are there rules I must follow?
Yes. Please follow all posted rules and staff instructions to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Guests who fail to follow safety rules may be asked to leave.
